My trip to Budapest...

Yesterday I arrived back home after my four day trip to Budapest. I can tell you that Budapest is a big and beautiful city and it impressed us with her big buildings.

It was a crazy start. Wednesdaynight I took the recipe for the medice from my roommate Markus to get some medice. Because it was very busy at the farmacy and I had a meeting with some friends I decide to get the medice later or give the recipe back to Markus. The next morning I wake up early and went to the car and ofcourse I forget to put the recipe out of my pocket. Close to the border Markus called us and ask for the recipe. After the phonecall we tried to find a postoffice (in the middle of nowhere and finally in a little town) to send the recipes back.

Finally, after Crotia, we arrived in Budapest. With a long trip trough the city we found our hostel. It was a nice and cosy hostel with big rooms in the middle of the city. The next morning we, I, Jo, Marie and Erna, went with a typical tourist tour bus through the city, so we saw the biggest attractions of the city. Afterwards we went to the terrormuseum. It is a museum about the occupation by the Nazi's and the Soviet Union. Really impressive and interesting. Then we went to the christmasmarket to get the feeling of the december month.

The next day we went to the fleemarket and the one of the biggest attraction of Budapest; a steambath with termalwater. It was a huge old building with several different kinds of baths, a sauna, a steamcabine and several baths outside with a temperature from 32 to 38 degrees. It was a nice and relaxing evening. The last day we went to the otherside, Buda, to view the castle and the fisherbastion.

I can see that we had a great time in Budapest and I will definalty go back, because we didn't see everything. In the following days I will try to put some photos on my website.

Se vidimo.
